Auditions for the brand new Disney Channel half-hour comedy sitcom pilot “Fantasma” are now underway for the series regulars. Casting is taking place in Los Angeles, where the show will be videotaped. Both union and non-union extras will be hired when shooting begins in July, 2012. The storyline follows a family that moves into an old house, and they soon discover that there is a perky teenage girl already living there – and she just so happens to be a ghost!

The smash hit musical comedy-drama television series “Glee” is casting new series regulars to make up the new high school glee club for the show’s fourth season. Filming is scheduled to start in late July, however rehearsals will possibly begin in early July. The show’s extras will be cast closer to the start of shooting in July. “Glee” is filmed at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles utilizing a single-camera setup. Season 4 of “Glee” will launch on a new night and time on Thursday September 13, 2012 at 9:00-10:00pm ET/PT.

Liam Hemsworth’s last film before shooting commences on “Catching Fire” is now casting for lead roles. The film is titled “Paranoia” and also stars Academy Award nominated actors Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman. It is being described as a corporate espionage thriller that follows a war between rival telecom companies. Auditions are taking place in Los Angeles and New York. The extras, stand-ins, and photo doubles will be hired in the filming locations of Philadelphia and New York.

Weinstein Company and Dimension Films are now in pre-production on “Scary Movie 5″ after a two year wait. The casting directors have sent out casting calls for several lead roles that require dance skills as well as the ability to play comedy in a grounded dramatic style. Other roles for non-dancers of various ages are also being cast. Extras will be hired in both Los Angeles and Vancouver, where shooting will take place beginning June 15, 2012.

ABC Family is now in production on a new ballet drama series called “Bunheads”, and the casting directors are auditioning actors for co-starring, guest starring, and day player roles. Extas and stand-ins are also being cast throughout the season. The show centers on a Las Vegas showgirl who impulsively marries a man named Hubble Flower and moves to his sleepy coastal town of Paradise, California after he passes away. She inherits his house, his mother Fanny Flowers along with her dance studio and students.

They will consider all talent, both experienced and inexperienced with these particular skill sets.
